The Healing Journey
There are many different ways in which people can access the Centre's services, depending on their needs and circumstances:
if you have a question or need some information, click here
if you would like to come and use the services at the Centre, click here
if you are a health professional, click here.
The Centre's telephone helpline is available to provide answers on a whole range of questions about cancer, what resources are available and the Centre's activities. It is open to people locally and nationally.
The helpline is staffed by the Centre's support officers and our Macmillan Cancer Information Officer. The telephone is answered in person on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm. Messages can be left on an answering machine at all other times - staff will return your call as soon as possible.
We ask that people who use our services join the Centre but membership is free.
Before being offered any one-to-one sessions, everyone is asked to come for an initial interview. This gives us an opportunity to find out more about the person, their medical treatment and what they would like from us.It is also an opportunity for the person to find out more about the services we offer and our ethos.
To find out more about using the Centre's services, please ring us on 020 7924 3924.
Further details about our one-to-one services can be found here and further details of our group activities can be found here.
