The Healing Journey
The Centre held an auction of small-sized artworks on April 21st 2004 at St. James' Church, Piccadilly, London. It was a very successful event and raised over £45,000.
The artworks, which were displayed anonymously before the auction, were created by a truly superb cross-section of artists from new talent to the very well-established and the famous. We send them our heartfelt thanks for their overwhelming generosity in donating such wonderful works.

We are enormously grateful to all the artists who donated their work and to the Stephen Lacey Gallery, Art First, the Sail Loft Studios (St. Ives) and Twist Art for their great help and support. We would also like to thank Hugh Edmeades of Christie's for conducting the auction; John Purcell, one of the finest art paper makers in England, who has donated all the paper (although some contributors have opted to use canvas); Justerini & Brooks for providing the wine; David Carter of Carters Mounts, a Cumbrian 'mount maker' who has donated all the mounting board; and the Central Charities Committee of the John Lewis Partnership.
We are also very grateful to Sophie Jeeves and Catherine Clark, who provided the food at the auction.
