The Healing Journey

Courses to develop calmness, confidence and wholeness.

Corporate supporters

Several companies are currently supporting the Centre's work in various ways. We are very grateful to all these companies.

Alternative Networks, who have headquarters based in Battersea, are a leading UK business communications service provider.

They have recently formed a specialist charity fundraising committee and, as a multi-site business, believe that it’s best to forge links with local communities and charities rather than focusing on one national cause. We are therefore delighted that they have chosen the Centre as their partner charity in the South.

Alternative Networks have given us a donation of £1,692 towards vital IT equipment at the Centre, following successful fundraising events including a Quiz Night and a Christmas Raffle.

When Louise Shing presented the cheque to our Director, she said: “We have selected the Paul D’Auria Cancer Support Centre as our partner charity in the South, as we believe this organisation offers a special and highly valuable service to a broad cross-section of the Wandsworth community”

Waitrose supermarkets across Wandsworth have chosen the Centre to be a beneficiary of their Community Matters Initiative.

Customers are encouraged to vote for their preferred project and £1,000 will be split between the Centre and two other local projects in line with the vote. Already we have raised £452 from Waitrose in the Southside Shopping Centre!

If you are going to Waitrose, you will be given a green token every time you shop, so please don’t forget to put yours into the Centre’s Perspex tube!

Treasury Holdings UK, developers of the Battersea Power Station site, supported the Centre’s 25th anniversary event last year by providing the venue and the security free of charge.

They also allowed the two east-facing chimneys of the landmark power station to be lit up by blocks of coloured light (provided free of charge by Martin Architectural PLC) to mark the occasion, which was hosted by Geraldine James attended by supporters and clients of the Centre.

The Navigant Foundation has donated over £9,000 towards the important ongoing work of the Centre. The Centre has also benefited from their advice and expertise which is much appreciated.

If you would like to provide corporate support to the Centre, please contact Lynn Leadbeater, the Centre's Lead Fundraiser, by calling her on 020 7801 2965 or emailing her.
